Callaway Men's Quantum MAX Fairway

About this product

The Quantum MAX blends distance, forgiveness, and playability. Speed Wave 2.0, a 40 g floating tungsten weight placed low and forward, lets the face flex more for speed, especially on low strikes.

The AI FlexFace is tuned from real fairway-wood impact data for steadier flight, and a refined Step Sole moves through the turf cleanly. Available from 3 wood to 11 wood, including a 3HL.

Features & specs

• Speed Wave 2.0: An upgraded 40g floating tungsten weight positioned low and forward frees up greater face flex for faster ball speeds — with targeted performance improvements on low-face strikes, the most common miss location with a fairway wood.
• AI FlexFace: Callaway's AI-optimized face design uses real fairway wood impact data to precisely tune speed, spin, launch, and accuracy across the entire hitting area, delivering more consistent ball flight regardless of strike location.
• Step Sole Design: A refined stepped leading edge minimizes sole contact with the turf at impact, promoting a clean, efficient strike from any lie. The heel has been reshaped to help keep the face square through impact for improved accuracy and control.
• OptiFit 4 Hosel: Callaway's adjustable hosel system offers seven independent loft and lie combinations — including ±2° of lie adjustment — allowing you to fine-tune trajectory and shot shape to fit your swing.
• Shallow Face Profile: A confidence-inspiring shallow face sits naturally flush to the turf at address, encouraging easy launch and consistent contact from the deck, tee, or light rough.
